Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our computer, phone, and information technology related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to employees on the use of new systems and software.
  • Manage and maintain our computer systems, networks, and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Identify and troubleshoot IT-related issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications, business administration, information technology, mathematics, statistics, management, or information science.
  • Experience in telecommunications, data processing, and/or information technology.
  • Valid Class D driver's license and willingness to complete routine driver duties.
  • Ability to work during emergency situations.
