We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Traveling Oncology Nurse to join our team at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals undergoing chemotherapy and other oncology treatments.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Tech Cert Verification - National
  • ENPC acceptable in lieu of PALS for ER
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
  • State License 1 Verification

  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, ONS/ONCC required
  • Administration of chemotherapy
  • Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy
  • Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy
  • IV push administration of chemotherapy
  • Management/disposal cytotoxic spills
  • Monitor chemotherapy
  • Oral Administration of chemotherapy
  • Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values
  • Post surgical Care
  • Radiation safety precautions
  • Total Body Irradiation (TBI)
  • Wound care
  • Symptom management
  • Alteration in skin and mucous membranes
  • Altered mental status
