We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Culinary Services to join our team at McLoughlin Place Senior Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary services, ensuring the highest quality of food and service delivery to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional requirements of our residents, while also ensuring that all food is prepared to their satisfaction.
- Culinary Operations Management: Direct and control all activities of the Culinary Service Department, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Staff Management: Supervise and coach a team of culinary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience in food services preparation and two years of managing staff; or three years of experience in food service preparation and managing staff.
- Certifications: Current ServSafe certification required; must obtain and hold any local, state, and/or county-required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Continuing Education: Two years of continuing education in culinary arts or a related field.
