Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Technologist to work in our Radiology department. As a Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during CT scans to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
  • Current certification in computed tomography (CT) scanning
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
