Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the ammonia refrigeration system, including start-up, shutdown, and adjustment of machine parameters.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and both mechanical and electrical repairs related to the refrigeration system.
  • Ensure operational efficiency to meet production, shipping, storage, and refrigeration demands.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience, with 1-2 years in Industrial Refrigeration (2-4+ years for Technicians).
  • Operators must have completed the RETA Operator 1 course.
  • Technicians should have completed both RETA Operator 1 and 2 courses (CIRO Certification may be accepted).
  • Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
  • Ability to interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with fire-tube boilers and industrial air compressors is advantageous.

Compensation is targeted between $25-$36/hr based on experience, plus guaranteed overtime.
