Key Responsibilities:

  • Operators will manage the ammonia refrigeration system, including initiating, shutting down, and adjusting machine parameters.
  • Technicians will conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, and handle various tasks related to the ammonia refrigeration system to support production, shipping, storage, and cooling requirements.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience, with 1-2 years in Industrial Refrigeration (2-4+ years for Technicians)
    • Operators must have completed the RETA Operator 1 course
    • Technicians should have completed both RETA Operator 1 and 2 courses (CIRO Certification can be an alternative).
  • Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
  • Ability to interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with fire-tube boilers and industrial air compressors is advantageous

Compensation is targeted at $25-$36/hr based on experience, plus guaranteed overtime.
