The HR Generalist will oversee a range of human resources activities, including recruitment, managing the employee lifecycle, fostering employee relations, performance evaluation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a comprehensive recruitment and selection process to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, which includes job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and job offer extensions.
- Establish a robust sourcing network to fulfill job requisitions promptly.
- Organize and participate in both onsite and offsite recruitment events.
- Implement a dynamic social media recruitment strategy.
- Develop partnerships with local educational institutions to support recruitment efforts.
- Facilitate onboarding processes, including new employee orientations.
- Address employee relations issues, enhance engagement, and effectively resolve concerns.
- Assist employees with various HR-related inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
- Support managers and staff in understanding and applying HR policies and procedures to optimize performance and ensure compliance.
- Complete various projects, reporting, and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- 3-6 years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing context.
- Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong HR administration and people management capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
- Professional, adaptable, and highly motivated, with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive HR information.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
