About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at the Women's Health Clinic on our Southdale Campus. This is an onsite role working with a diverse patient population, and we are passionate about education and supporting our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing various functions within a care team.
  • Collect information and documents to support patient visits, promoting cohesion with all members of the healthcare team.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate clinical documentation for each patient.
  • Continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
  • Deliver care as delegated by the authorized practitioner to assigned populations or individual patients.
  • Prioritize work based on patient acuity, available resources, patient preferences, and provider schedules, in collaboration with other care team members.
  • Efficiently communicate compliance and concerns to delegating physicians or authorized practitioners.
  • Engage in change to improve the work environment and patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Ambulatory Care Experience.
  • AAMA Certification.
