Position Overview:
The Radiopharmaceutical Specialist plays a crucial role in the application and management of radionuclides under the supervision of the Practice Manager or Department Director. This position involves the procurement, preparation, quality assurance, calculation, identification, administration, disposal, and safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
2. Operate and maintain the "hot lab" in compliance with radioactive materials regulations.
3. Utilize independent judgment to support departmental goals.
4. Capture and process high-quality images following established protocols.
5. Operate Nuclear Cameras effectively.
6. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patient care.

Essential Skills:
- Proficient computer skills.
- Adaptability to change and effective time management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an ACR accredited training program.
- NMTCB or CNMT licensure.
- Current Radiologic Technologist (RAD) License in Arizona.
- Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT certification.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification from an accredited organization.

Salary Range:
$45.00 per hour
