Position Overview:
This role involves performing specialized radiographic procedures as per established departmental policies and protocols, ensuring optimal patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, adhering to the orders from referring providers while applying independent judgment and established methodologies.
2. Educate patients and their families about the procedures and treatments, maintaining professionalism and fostering teamwork to achieve quality patient outcomes.
3. Produce high-quality imaging and prepare documentation for timely interpretation.
4. Demonstrate proficiency in conducting invasive procedures and administering radiopharmaceuticals as required.
5. Perform equipment quality control checks and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal performance.
6. Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards in radiology practice, ensuring confidentiality of all information.
7. Manage the workflow of the department efficiently, maintaining adequate inventory of supplies to ensure uninterrupted service.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure if applicable.
- Advanced certification in specialty required within 18 months of hire.
- BLS certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional education and experience in related fields are advantageous.
