Key Responsibilities- Preparation of Vaccine Components: Prepare vaccine components in aseptic clean room environments, utilizing virus and cell culture techniques in accordance with USDA regulations.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and maintain accurate documentation to support quality and compliance.
- Training and Development: Assist with training and coaching of new employees on required skills and procedures.
- Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address production flow disturbances.
- Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Commitment: Demonstrate a visible commitment to EHS programs and initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Performance Assessment and Improvement: Assess individual performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Project Support and Collaboration: Participate in site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: Biology degree or related field, with one year or more of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, clean room and aseptic technique knowledge, basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles, basic math skills, equipment/automation trouble shooting skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and other database software systems, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
