This role is integral to the Security Operations Center (SOC) within nLeague, focusing on the management and resolution of information security incidents. The SOC Analyst 2 will oversee the complete lifecycle of security incidents, ensuring effective triage and response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary incident owner, leading the response to security incidents from discovery through to recovery.
  • Facilitate incident handling processes, including analysis, verification, tracking, containment, and coordination of responses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security threats and communicate critical intelligence to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of relevant certifications such as Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Security+, or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA+).
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and incident response protocols.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging cyber threats, penetration testing techniques, and defensive strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability in all operations.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
