Job Summary

As a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating laboratory processes across shifts, specialty, and support areas to ensure the highest quality of patient care. You will independently perform complex laboratory tests and assist the manager, technical supervisor, section supervisors, or pathologist in meeting customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to achieve quality and productivity goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet one of the following qualifications:

  • Two years of Laboratory Scientist II experience at TriCore Reference Laboratories
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution, and two years' direct clinical laboratory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry from an accredited institution, and four years' direct clinical laboratory experience
  • Successful completion of a U.S. military medical laboratory training course, and bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry, and three years' direct clinical laboratory testing experience
  • Associate's degree in laboratory science (biology or chemistry) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, and four years' direct clinical laboratory experience
  • Four years' direct clinical laboratory experience, and education and training equivalent to an associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lead or supervisory experience
  • ASCP or AMT certification as a BB, C, CG, H, M, MB, MLT, MLS, SBB, SC, SCYM, SH, SM, or SMB, or ADLM Certification in POCT, or ACHI certification as CHA, CHT, or CHS, or NRCC Certification as a Toxicological Chemist or Toxicological Technologist
