Job Title: Senior Research Associate

The Senior Research Associate plays a critical role in advancing the field of applied research at the intersection of psychology and law, with a focus on child welfare court systems. This position requires a deep understanding of research design, methodology, and analysis, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement studies to investigate the intersection of psychology and law in child welfare court systems
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform research findings and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Lead and participate in capture planning and business development activities to align with Center and Corporate strategic goals and initiatives
  • Prepare and present research findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences, including clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • PhD in Psychology, Law, or a related field, with 10 years of experience in research and development
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely, with attention to detail and target audience focus
  • English fluency (oral and written)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) proficiency
Work Environment:

This is a remote position, requiring the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk or computer workstation, with regular use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.

This position is subject to availability of funds and to any and all restrictions contained in the contract or contracts that provide funding for this position.
