About the Job

Catholic Charities of San Francisco is seeking a dedicated Housing Stabilization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our housing support services, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve stable and secure housing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-going support to clients living in subsidized housing, including information and referral for services, quarterly client contact, and assistance with meeting their service plan goals.
  • Assess clients' needs, strengths, and situations to determine effective solutions and develop mutually-agreed upon plans to improve their well-being and housing situation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to identify and connect clients with relevant resources and services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Participate in program development, implementation, and evaluation efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; minimum two years directly related experience in case management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, homelessness, and associated health issues; sensitivity to HIV/AIDS services and cultural competence a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Electronic data collection and maintenance skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.19-$27.74 per hour, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
