Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Neurologic Care Specialist to join our team at Dent Neurologic Institute. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care activities, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and participate in patient care activities, including vital signs, mini-mental assessments, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
  • Schedule appointments and modify provider schedules as needed to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Monitor schedules to ensure all necessary authorizations are in place for upcoming injections.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Enter data into the electronic medical record system, including prescriptions, diagnostic testing, and outside procedures.
  • Work with patients and other office personnel to coordinate care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
