Job Title: Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including preparing and analyzing financial models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Mentor and develop junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid work model: 2-3 days in the office.
  • Flexible remote work opportunities during the summer.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $115,000 - $125,000 per year.
