Insurance Account Manager

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive III to lead client relationships and drive business growth in Michigan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions to clients and promoting the value Aon delivers.
Key Responsibilities- Retain and grow Aon's business by cultivating relationships with senior client decision-makers and day-to-day client contacts.
- Lead all aspects of day-to-day service activities, including identifying and meeting client needs and retaining a profitable book of business.
- Build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at senior levels within the company and lead resources to address client risk/capital management needs.
- Actively seek new business opportunities and develop and analyze program and coverage options across lines of business.
- Draw comparisons and communicate to clients to aid in decision making.
- Secure existing business and drive the sale of additional services and coverages across solution lines.
- Work at a strategic level to cultivate relationships with clients and identify and generate new and penetration business across solution lines.
- Prepare and negotiate fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability in a value-based approach.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Aon's resources and capabilities and effectively leverage the Aon network to achieve client risk objectives.
- Prepare for internal Strategic Account Review meetings and drive plans developed for each client.
- Earn at least 2 of the following Badges: Articulating Value Badge, RFP Rehearsal Coach Badge, and Redsheet Facilitator Badge.
- Utilize Pricing Council analysts and resources and ensure overall account profitability with a value-based approach.
- Act as Account Executive on their own book of business with sales and book growth goals.
- Stay current on all relevant industry data and introduce innovative ideas to help clients contemplate risk management with a fresh perspective.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Insurance licensing as required.
- 7-10+ years of appropriate insurance experience.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the insurance brokerage business and assigned clients' needs.
- Excellent negotiation skills and technical proficiency.
