Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production lines, meeting customer specifications and USDA requirements, and leading a team of hourly employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of hourly employees to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of production lines, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure all customer specifications and USDA requirements are met.
  • Conduct daily reporting and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Maximize yields and throughputs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Participate in interviews for open positions and ensure that safety and job-specific training are conducted.
  • Ensure that the production area is prepared for customer and BRC audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant supervisory or lead experience in par fry, fully cooked, further processing operations.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence to get results.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
