The Role
We're seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer who will join our team and apply AI and machine learning techniques to big-data problems to help us better understand, lead, and optimize the experience of our customers. As a key partner with our business units, you'll be building various products that address challenging business problems throughout the customer's lifecycle, from customer analytics to marketing media optimization.
Your Responsibilities
- You'll develop predictive models on large-scale datasets to address various business problems using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques.
- You'll design and implement scalable and efficient modeling algorithms that can work seamlessly with large-scale data in production systems.
- You'll collaborate closely with product management and engineering groups to develop new products and features that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Your Requirements
- A PhD or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Operations Research, Econometrics, or equivalent experience is required.
- You should have 0-2+ years of experience in specific skill/field(s), with a strong academic background and technical skills including applied statistics, machine learning, data mining, and software development.
- You'll need to demonstrate a deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, or data mining concepts, along with a track record of solving problems with these methods.
- You should be proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, and C, and familiar with one or more machine learning or statistical modeling tools like R, Matlab, and scikit-learn.
- Knowledge and experience working with relational databases and SQL are also essential.
- You'll need to possess strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, relationship skills, and a strong team player mentality.
