Responsibilities- Maintain a lively and engaging store environment for customers and colleagues.
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service.
- Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, and other tasks.
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using appropriate price overrides when necessary.
- Manage all aspects of a customer's expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery.
- Affirm the client's purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections.
- Ensure clients are aware of all promotions that may impact sales.
- Share information and testimonials about products, in-store events, and workshops that enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area.
- Maximize available resources to meet customer needs and resolve any issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, adhering to Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to close sales and articulate a proven ability to exceed goals.

- Passion for creating lasting relationships with customers by capturing contacts, reconnecting, and promoting Williams-Sonoma's inspiration, events, and services.
- Ability to ask the right questions to understand customers' personal style and needs.
- Succeeding in a team environment while working independently and managing own tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Ability to operate the POS system.
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
This role offers a competitive compensation package, including pay and benefits. Pay is based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The anticipated pay range for this role is $18.15 per hour.
