Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure hardware and software orders are received, configured, scheduled, and installed.
  • Verify equipment labeling according to client specifications.
  • Research, verify, and document device specifications according to purchase order and client standards.
  • Work with service and business units to relocate equipment as requested by departments.
  • Provide on-site installation, customer service, and technical installation and/or repairs support.
  • Serve as a technical and equipment liaison in the field to collaborate with other support services.
  • Assist with end-user training and explain technical concepts and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for installations or repair requests.
  • Collaborate with other IT Infrastructure areas to manage parts inventory.
  • Evaluate and process equipment according to IT Security policy and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and 2 years of professional customer service experience supporting PC, Macintosh, desktop computing hardware, and peripheral equipment.
  • Skills must include knowledge of Operating Systems and configuration, hardware configuration, and software installation.
