About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Associate Repair Technician to join our team at Foundry, a leading provider of digital currency mining solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing basic repairs of bitcoin mining equipment, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and reassemble bitcoin mining equipment to diagnose and repair issues
  • Enter repair orders into our ticketing system to track progress and ensure timely completion
  • Prepare bitcoin miners for shipping and receiving, ensuring that they are properly packaged and labeled
  • Operate specialized mining equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Rack and de-rack bitcoin mining equipment to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Select components from our inventory and transport them to designated workstations for repair
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment to ensure a safe and healthy workspace
  • Perform other duties as assigned by our Lead Data Center Engineer

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in computer hardware maintenance and repair
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and collaborate effectively with other departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a general warehouse environment, which includes high levels of noise and periodic hot temperatures
