Job Summary

The Network Administrator I will support all functional areas of the organization in alignment with the plant business objectives. Under direct supervision, this position assists with routine IT operations, low-level problem resolution of computing and/or communications functions, and ensures the cyber security of information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with computer hardware repairs and installation of approved software on PCs.
  • Provide help desk, analytical, and technical support by performing maintenance, expanding functionality, and improving performance of hardware and software tools used.
  • Provide computer/network equipment asset inventory through data entry and maintenance of assets, including equipment installation, disposal, processing, and tracking.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT and cyber security policies, procedures, standards, and system documentation development and maintenance.
  • Assist on various special projects and tasks as well as coordinating meetings.
  • Perform media and equipment scans.
  • Administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; or significant work experience and certifications.
  • One - five years in IT support or similar capacity with the ability to support: Windows, Desktop, Networking, Data/Voice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, strong customer service skills.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Able to learn new technology as needed to meet the requirements of the position.
