Key Responsibilities:


• Facilitate a welcoming atmosphere for patients, whether they are visiting in person, utilizing telehealth services, or communicating via phone.


• Maintain consistent communication with clinical teams to address patient needs and foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction.


• Welcome patients and execute established check-in protocols, which include registering patients, entering their information, and verifying insurance details.


• Collect necessary payments, including copays and outstanding balances, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.


• Manage patient check-out processes, including scheduling follow-up appointments and conveying essential information at the time of departure.


• Respond promptly to phone calls and email inquiries from patients and administrative departments, directing or escalating issues as required. Reach out to patients for appointment confirmations or scheduling.


• Perform various clerical duties such as mail distribution, report management, filing, scanning, scheduling, data entry, and providing general support to office staff.


• Uphold patient confidentiality and remain informed about HIPAA regulations to protect sensitive information.

Qualifications:

Experience, Education, Licensures & Certifications:


• Preferred: At least one year of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.


• Required: High School diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships.


• Strong organizational and written communication capabilities.


• Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and responding promptly to patient inquiries.


• Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA guidelines and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating leadership qualities.


• Proficient computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, and understanding of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
