STS Technical Services is seeking Bilingual Shipping Supervisors.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily shipment of materials, both outgoing and incoming. The Shipping Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication between shifts and with various departments regarding shipping statuses, inventory updates, and shipping performance metrics. The primary focus is on ensuring that sales orders are shipped on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the printing and distribution of sales orders and picking tickets.
  • Track shipping schedules to guarantee timely dispatches.
  • Lead the Shipping Team and manage warehouse operations.
  • Facilitate daily communication in both Spanish and English with team members.
  • Compile and analyze freight costs for customer and carrier assessments.
  • Collaborate with planning and production teams to ensure timely shipments.
  • Supervise Shipping personnel, including recruitment and scheduling.
  • Ensure adherence to training and safety protocols.
  • Monitor the accuracy of the ERP system and associated documentation.
  • Manage attendance records and approve time-off requests.
  • Enhance the efficiency and organization of the Shipping department.
  • Implement 5S methodologies to maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree with a minimum of two years of leadership experience in shipping or receiving operations.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential.
- Prior supervisory experience is required.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Language Proficiency:
Ability to read, write, analyze, and communicate effectively in both languages.

Work Environment:
This role necessitates regular engagement within a manufacturing setting, interacting with all shifts.

Physical Requirements:
Regular walking, standing, and lifting of items up to 20 pounds, with occasional heavier lifts. A valid driver's license is mandatory.
