Job Overview

We are currently in search of a skilled HVAC Service Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team of 20 professionals within our HVAC Service Division. This role will report directly to the company President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of HVAC service operations, including preventive maintenance and repairs for commercial, industrial, and select residential clients.
  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships through consistent communication and site assessments.
  • Work closely with sales personnel on project estimations, pricing strategies, presentations, and contract discussions.
  • Offer technical guidance and expertise to clients regarding HVAC product specifications, installation, and maintenance needs.
  • Evaluate building interiors and duct systems to propose solutions for enhanced comfort and efficiency.
  • Create conceptual drawings for the placement of HVAC equipment, both inside and outside buildings.
  • Implement strategies aimed at exceeding customer expectations with a focus on long-term client retention.
  • Oversee customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high performance and profitability.
  • Supervise dispatch teams to guarantee prompt responses to service requests.
  • Utilize GPS tracking for vehicles to monitor staff locations and coordinate emergency services effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Plumbing Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Service Division.
  • Assist the Construction Division with startup, commissioning, and refrigerant piping tasks.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Construction Division to discuss project risks and advantages.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Engage actively in monthly Safety Committee meetings.
  • Ensure that all HVAC technicians maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge regarding the latest HVAC technologies and building codes.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing HVAC operations, particularly in industrial and commercial settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar software for creating 2D conceptual drawings.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam for reading drawings, performing measurements, and collaborating effectively.
  • Ability to navigate multiple CRM systems as required by clients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation: $200,000 annually (exempt)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
