Property Management Assistant Superintendent

Cianbro is seeking a skilled Assistant Properties Superintendent to oversee a diverse range of properties and facilities initiatives. The portfolio managed by Cianbro encompasses various types of locations, including corporate offices, equipment storage areas, waterfront facilities, fabrication plants, solar installations, and both urban and rural rental properties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional project management capabilities, ensuring that facilities-related projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent assessments and revisions of contract documents associated with proposals
  • Oversee the management of facilities and properties located throughout the United States
  • Lead projects related to new construction or renovations of facilities
  • Address daily maintenance and repair requirements for company-owned properties
  • Oversee improvement and renovation initiatives for all company-owned locations, including cost estimation, bidding, and project management
  • Handle budgeting, strategic planning, and space allocation across all properties
  • Supervise both Cianbro team members and subcontractors engaged in construction activities
  • Engage positively and professionally with clients and team members at all organizational levels

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or over 10 years in facilities or property management or building construction project management
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information is preferred
  • Familiarity with building codes and real estate regulations is advantageous
  • Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally is required
