Night Auditor Job Description

The Harrison Group is a family-owned business with a rich history in Ocean City, Maryland, dating back to 1951. Our portfolio includes over 15 hotels and 7 restaurants across various locations. We are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and continually improving our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify revenue and expenses to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare detailed reports for the next day's work
  • Reconcile accounts and check room rates for accuracy
  • Welcome guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Assist guests and owners with their needs
  • Register guests and manage the rooming chart
  • Collect payments and make change as necessary
  • Verify credit acceptance and balance the cash drawer
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Provide pre-arrival support and facilitate correspondence with guests
Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • Advanced math and bookkeeping skills
  • Ability to perform computer-based tasks
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and diffuse tense situations
