Assembly Specialist

At The Timken Company, we're seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our bearing assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow precise work instructions and training documents to assemble and inspect bearing components.
  • Verify parts and components match order and part numbers for assembly.
  • Set up assembly and/or packaging machinery per specific work instructions and training documents.
  • Perform quality inspections and packaging operations for bearing assemblies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve continuous improvement and meet team metrics.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply precise technical work instructions.
  • Blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work second shift and rotate to other tasks as needed.
