Job Summary:

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bulk Product Handler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of ingredients to our converter lines, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Lift Truck: Secure totes, skids, and super sacks of ingredients from the warehouse and position them at dumping stations and super sack stations.
  • Inventory Management: Sample, inventory, sort, and align bulk ingredient inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of ingredients used, including correct and proper cleaning before use.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Regulate and maintain adequate rates of ingredient flow to the converters, and coordinate with converter operators to minimize changeover time.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with building cleaning in the work area and weekend clean up.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient and knowledgeable in MES/SAP, using it to maintain accurate inventory and usage of ingredients by item and location.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired, with previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Basic proficiency in English language required to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies, and procedures.
  • Physical Demands: Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis, willing and able to work overtime, and willing and able to work various shifts.
  • Physical Abilities: Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

This is a 2nd shift position, working from 4 pm to 12 am. The pay is $26.95 per hour, with a $1000 sign-on bonus after the probationary period.
