Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at the University of California. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
  • Work under general supervision to prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring the highest quality image.
  • Enter complex data into computer systems and review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure technical quality and image quality.
  • Ensure compliance with related policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other healthcare members.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) certification.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification within six months of hire.
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography issued by ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)) certification.
  • BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
  • Less than 18 months of recent experience in a similar role and setting or a new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program (Rad Tech) OR more than 18 months of experience (Sr. Rad Tech).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in a similar role and setting.
  • Demonstrated hospital experience.
Special Conditions
  • Ability to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and some overtime, if necessary.
  • Employment subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Compensation

Annual Full Pay Range: $97,781 - $121,605 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $58.24
