Job Summary
Quincy Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Care Professional to join our Pediatrics team. As part of a multi-specialty group practice with over 155 physicians and providers, we have proudly served the community for over 85 years, delivering exceptional healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, assisting in the care of children from infancy through adolescence.
- Room patients, take vital signs, administer vaccinations, prepare patients for exams, and assist with routine pediatric procedures.
- Provide patient education to parents and caregivers, document care in the electronic health record (EHR), and ensure a comforting environment for young patients and their families.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN or certified Medical Assistant with experience in a pediatric or family medicine setting.
- Love for working with children, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of teamwork.
- Experience with administering vaccines and using EHRs is a plus.
Work Schedule
This part-time, hourly, non-exempt position follows a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
