Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Forensic North

Gracepoint is seeking a compassionate and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Forensics Treatment Program-North Campus.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with behavioral health disorders, utilizing the nursing process to assess, identify, and address patient needs. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physiological, psychosocial, and environmental needs, and report findings to the Registered Nurse.
  • Implement nursing interventions based on established care plans, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor staff and workflow, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Share professional and technical knowledge with colleagues, adhering to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
Work Environment:

This is an inpatient behavioral health care setting, requiring a fast-paced and dynamic approach. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing your critical thinking and decision-making skills to provide high-quality patient care.
