Internship for Project Coordination

ASG, a prominent Independent Supermarket services and product organization, is seeking a Project Management Intern to take charge of assigned projects. The intern will be responsible for delivering analytics as required, generating reports, monitoring project progress, and providing timely updates. This role encompasses various responsibilities, which are not exhaustive.
We offer compensated internships across three cycles that align with typical academic semesters, each lasting approximately 10-15 weeks. A minimum commitment of 15-20 hours per week is expected, with a maximum of 30 hours allowed. While work schedules are generally flexible, all interns must allocate 3 hours weekly for in-person meetings.
Each intern will be paired with a mentor who will assist in navigating the organization, establishing overall objectives, and supervising their work plan. Interns will receive $16.00 per hour and will be provided with a laptop for the duration of their internship, which must be returned upon completion.
Intern Responsibilities:
The specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gathering project-specific information and creating various reports, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documents.
- Assisting with the onboarding process for clients related to the project.
- Responding to client inquiries regarding the project and addressing their questions.
- Monitoring various measurement points for the project as outlined.
- Participating in conference calls and meetings pertinent to the project.
- Providing updates through emails, conference calls, and in-person meetings.
- Utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software extensively.
- Interacting with various project vendors.
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Retail, Food & Beverage, Communication, or a related field. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

- A commitment to achieving project goals.
- A passion for technology and consumer digital engagement (eCommerce, loyalty, social).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Confidence in public speaking, whether on the phone or in person.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for site visits is a plus.
