About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our customers and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the order process.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working closely with the credit department and clients.
  • Develop new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence databases, business directories, and existing client relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, sharing valuable insights with customers.
  • Drive a motor vehicle to existing customers and prospects, ensuring product delivery and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry or culinary experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills, with a team-oriented mentality.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and experience with customer relationship management tools.
