Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equipment Sales Representative to join our team at Ag-Pro. As an Equipment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling new and used agricultural equipment and outdoor power equipment to new and existing customers in a defined sales area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company in the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area, maintaining current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  • Monitor competitive activity and products, and timely communicate to management accordingly.
  • Maintain sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
  • Monitor trends in customer's business activities and timely communicate to management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  • Attend applicable sales training events and seminars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in agricultural equipment or outdoor power equipment sales preferred.
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
