We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Thom Child and Family Services. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting multidisciplinary team assessments, providing direct child development services, and developing Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address the unique needs of each family. You will work closely with parents/caregivers to ensure that services are individualized, meaningful, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments to identify the developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
- Provide direct child development services, including play-based interventions and parent-child interactions.
- Develop and implement Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address the unique needs of each family.
- Collaborate with parents/caregivers to ensure that services are individualized, meaningful, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
- Assess family and child strengths, resources, and concerns to inform service delivery.
- Act as a service coordinator for families, scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating intervention plans.
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work or Certified/Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) required.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families preferred.
- Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
- Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
- Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Abide by all confidentiality and professional boundaries standards.
- Good computer skills and strong documentation skills.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual/Bicultural a plus.
