About Voith Turbo, Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist II to provide application engineering support for our North American Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). As part of our team, you will ensure the proper technical application of our commercial vehicle products. Your role will involve creating, documenting, and delivering technical information to other departments within the company as well as to our headquarters in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide application engineering point of contact support for OEM's mechanical and electrical engineering departments.
  • Develop and manage series production bill of materials for our Electric Drive and DIWA Automatic Transmission products.
  • Perform first article inspections for new products and applications.
  • Generate vehicle performance simulations for Electric Drive projects according to customer and OEM specifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirements include a four-year degree in an engineering curriculum, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to write and orally present technical specifications, are essential.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
