Job Description

Cypress Creek Personnel is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform complete repairs on customer equipment for equipment in the Service Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working within the overall Service Center team to accomplish the goals of the business in the areas of EHS, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Operating Costs, and Productivity improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform necessary disassembly, diagnosis, inspection, and reassembly to a wide variety of blowers, pumps, and compression units.
  • Evaluate the condition of existing parts/components, for possible reuse or replacement, and complete written records required by job order.
  • Operate various torches to perform heating or cutting in the disassembly and repair of units, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in rotating equipment repair.
  • Environmental and Safety focused.
  • Ability to work in and contribute in a team environment.
  • Quality focused.
  • TIG or arc welding experience.

  • Experience operating machine tools such as mills, lathes, or drill presses.
  • A proven track record in working with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
