Business Systems Analyst

This is a contract to hire position that requires a hybrid schedule in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation testing and documentation experience around workflows, mock-ups, and wireframes, as well as experience with Selenium.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you will analyze policies and processes to understand their impact on workflow and determine client IT needs. You will work with stakeholders to elicit and document their business, functional, and technical requirements, maintaining an appropriate audit trail for those requirements. You will also resolve and document conflicting requirements, conduct gap analyses, and create business cases. Additionally, you will analyze complex data and provide meaningful interpretations of the results in the form of reports, graphs, and other documents. You will work with the technical team to analyze, recommend, and communicate proposed solutions. You will document applications for both internal technical use and external user manuals and provide user training on applications as needed. You will also assist with IT proposal documentation and development and work with internal IT staff to ensure that applications developed meet client/stakeholder needs and expectations.
As a Quality Analyst, you will perform IT testing for assigned projects, complete test plans and execution for system test tasks, develop and document a regression testing plan for all assigned projects, and complete recording and uploading of scripts for automated testing. You will work with the automation developer to maintain the automation suite for the project and assist with test plans for client-based User Acceptance Testing.
