About the Position:
Dotdash Meredith is a leading digital and print publisher in America, with a portfolio of iconic brands including PEOPLE, Allrecipes, Better Homes & Gardens, and Verywell. We're seeking a UX Design Lead to help define site experiences and features that drive business growth across our portfolio of sites.

As a UX Design Lead, you will create functional, elegant design solutions that express our brand promise. You will collaborate with editorial teams to help them tell stories that engage and build loyalty, while also championing user needs and collaborating with business stakeholders to understand problems and recognize opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:
Translating user needs and business requirements into concrete ideas, wireframes, and mockups
Building interactive prototypes suitable for validating design decisions with users
Collaborating with Brand stakeholders to develop and maintain the visual language of our products
Documenting design guidelines and sharing knowledge with the engineering team to ensure products ship on time and as designed

About the Position's Contributions:
60% - User Experience Design
30% - Collaborate with Design and Product teams
10% - Process Management

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
4-7 years experience as a UX designer
Strong user experience design skills, including user flows, wireframing, and interaction design
Strong visual design skills, especially visual interface and typography
Experience building interactive prototypes suitable for validating design decisions with users
Familiarity with atomic design methodology and an interest in the challenges of building and maintaining design systems
Expertise in UX software such as Figma, Adobe Suite, etc.
Basic HTML and CSS skills are a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication
Self-motivated and highly-organized
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
