Our approach is unencumbered by traditional healthcare barriers, emphasizing a patient-first philosophy, collaboration, and a commitment to holistic health.

We seek individuals who recognize that leadership transcends job titles; it is defined by character, beliefs, and daily actions.

  • Individuals who strive to understand, respect, and guide their colleagues and patients.
  • Professionals who prioritize serving their teams and patients by inspiring accountability and collaboration.
  • Team members who possess the courage to commit to improvement and work collectively to enhance the quality of care.

Position Overview

WPMG is currently seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician to enhance our Olympia Medical Center team.

As a Comprehensive Hematologist and Oncologist, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage with colleagues and specialists to exchange knowledge, develop ideas, and tailor treatments to meet patient needs.
  • Practice in a model that has removed insurance barriers, allowing you ample time to connect with and care for your patients.
  • Work within a multi-specialty medical center that facilitates coordinated care, offering a comprehensive range of services in a single location.
  • Enjoy the potential for a four-day work week with a shared call rotation among physicians covering inpatient responsibilities.
  • Benefit from on-site hospitalists managing all admissions and discharges.
  • Maintain a clinic schedule that prioritizes patient-physician interaction, ensuring a healthy work-life balance with competitive vacation and continuing medical education time.
  • Focus on community hematology and oncology practice while having the flexibility to specialize in specific areas of care.
  • Utilize EPIC and Beacon EMR systems across all practice sites.
  • Explore opportunities to develop non-clinical interests within the medical field.
  • Receive a generous signing bonus.

The Olympia Medical Center is a comprehensive medical facility with on-site lab, radiology, and pharmacy services. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with 24/7 urgent care availability.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $434,861 to $511,600, prorated based on FTE. New hires typically start within the range of $434,861 to $486,021, influenced by education, training, and experience.

Employees and their families receive comprehensive medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Enrollment in our 401(k) plan, employer contributions, and a cash balance pension plan are also available. Additionally, employees enjoy four weeks of paid vacation annually, eight paid holidays, and support for continuing medical education.
