We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients/patients/residents develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to meet their unique needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help clients/patients/residents achieve their goals.
- Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for clients/patients/residents with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments.
- Document client/patient/resident information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans as needed.
- Provide education and training to clients/patients/residents to enhance their understanding and improve functional outcomes.
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) when working at a Sanford Health Facility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
