Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in helping clients/patients/residents develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks and occupations. You will conduct thorough evaluations, design and implement occupational therapy treatments, and provide education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments
  • Help clients/patients/residents develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks and occupations
  • Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for clients/patients/residents with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments
  • Develop realistic therapy goals and administer appropriate occupational therapy programs
  • Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans
  • Provide education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes

Requirements

  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist
  • Certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) when working at a Sanford Health Facility
