Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents
  • Develop and administer occupational therapy programs to improve functional outcomes
  • Provide education and training to clients/patients/residents to enhance understanding and improve daily living skills
  • Document client/patient/resident information and establish therapeutic plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist
  • Certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) when working at a Sanford Health Facility
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
