Ambulatory Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an Ambulatory Care Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating, integrating, and communicating nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- Collect patient health history
- Record information in electronic health record
- Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans
- Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform phone and in-person patient triage for clinical concerns
- Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments, procedures, and anesthesia
- Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans for patients
- Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and technicians as needed to support patient flow and efficiency
- Support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and performance evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies and procedures
- Ensure clinical compliance with Patient Safety initiatives and reporting
- Support key quality initiatives to impact clinical outcome measures
- Participate in designated activities related to NYULH clinical standards and regulations of relevant outside agencies
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is highly preferred; a Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing requires a minimum of one year experience in conjunction with plans to earn a baccalaureate degree
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills
- Fertility Experience
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $105,999.99 - $132,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
