Compliance Audit Specialist

At National Seating & Mobility, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our clients. As a Compliance Audit Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of durable medical equipment and policies, as well as applicable insurance guidelines.
2. Conduct quarterly audits of claims to ensure accurate payment and compliance.
3. Identify trends and propose solutions to address compliance risk areas.
4. Collaborate with the NSM Audit/QA Team to gather information for external auditors.
5. Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance performance and productivity.
Work Environment:
This role primarily operates in a work-from-home environment, with occasional visits to our professional office space.
Physical Demands:
This position requires regular sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as the ability to use standard office equipment.
Required Education, Experience & Competencies:
·Minimum 5 years of experience in durable medical equipment and/or complex rehab technology required.
·Extensive knowledge of insurance verification for DME and comprehensive knowledge of insurance guidelines.
·Proven record of excellent people skills, including good communication and inter-personal skills.
·Strong leadership skills and ability to be a strong role model for high performance and productivity.
·Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
·Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and develop training materials.
·Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of staff.
