At National Seating & Mobility, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our clients. As a Compliance Audit Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current durable medical equipment policies and procedures, as well as applicable insurance guidelines.

2. Conduct quarterly audits of claims to ensure accurate payment and compliance with company policies.

3. Identify trends and propose solutions to address compliance risk areas, such as CRT claims and highly utilized items.

4. Collaborate with the NSM Audit/QA Team to gather information for external auditors and ensure compliance with industry standards.

5. Develop and maintain audit records, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.

6. Foster a culture of compliance within the organization, promoting a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring our compliance programs remain effective and efficient.

8. Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their compliance knowledge and skills.

9. Work closely with supervisors to address performance gaps and ensure high-quality compliance practices.

10. Maintain a professional and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and a culture of compliance.

Work Environment:

This role operates primarily in a work-from-home environment, with occasional visits to our professional office space. You'll be expected to adhere to our work-from-home policy and requirements.

Physical Demands:

This role requires regular sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as occasional reaching and using hands to operate standard office equipment.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies:

We're seeking a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in durable medical equipment and/or complex rehab technology. You'll need a strong understanding of insurance verification, billing, and reimbursement processes, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
