We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager/Senior Buyer to join our team at Consolidated Machine & Tool. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing materials and services according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strategic sourcing relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain pricing histories and other vendor records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 10 years of purchasing experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
